The Facility Association (FA) is an insurance industry association that Aviva participates in to pool higher risk personal auto policies and then share back losses with other carriers in the industry. The Risk Sharing Pool (RSP) team in Finance is accountable for ensuring the technical underwriting eligibility of the risks ceded into the pool and the accuracy of our reporting to the Facility Association. We are currently recruiting for a Risk Sharing Pool Analyst who will be responsible for supporting the RSP to cede policies to the pool based on the Facility Association Underwriting manual. You will be working closely with our Broker Partners to verify information used for our RSP reporting in all provinces. The RSP team also works with Claims to ensure accurate claims reporting to the Facility association as well as with other departments to ensure that all systems in the RSP cycle are reconciled. What you’ll do: * Support the Underwriting team to cede policies to the risk sharing pool the Facility Association underwriting manual. when volumes are high * Analyze and correct Facility Claims & Premium errors using various systems: FA Portal, ClaimCenter, Broker Portal and/or PolicyCenter * Extract and compile data from various source application for monthly Management Reporting * Identify any unusual financial or underwriting patterns and raise to RSP team ,NPL, IT, Claims * Support the central RSP team on any claims queries or providing documents on claims to the FA. * Investigate and provide information to the Facility Association when requested * Support the RSP team in the FA Audits * Complete quality reviews on RSP underwriting * Perform system reconciliations on key RSP systems to ensure data quality as data flows through the IT RSP ecosystem * Take a lead on the maintenance of the Sharepoint system * Support other analysts in testing of system changes and releases * You will continuously update soft-skills through identified e-learn courses and product/industry knowledge through CIP/FCIP or other related industry accreditations. * You show a high degree of integrity when representing Aviva to Brokers and to the Facility Association or other Regulators. * Review and ensure the RSP controls are in place and support the RSP in the control testing performed by the Financial Reporting Controls team What you’ll bring: * Minimum 2 years data analytics, insurance, finance or claims experience. * Strong decision making, problem solving and analytical skills. * Highly motivated and enthusiastic with strong organizational and administrative skills * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Ability to work in team environment with minimal direct supervision. * Knowledge of data analytics and systems, Excel and SharePoint * Excellent analytical and investigating skills to efficiently identify technical issues and trends pertaining to reporting errors. * Knowledge of RSP systems: examples Broker Portal, PolicyCenter, The General, ClaimCenter, FA Portal would be an asset * Knowledge of the FA Underwriting manual and FA processes would be an asset * Prior Personal lines UW or Claims experience would be an asset What you’ll get: * Compelling rewards package including base compensation, eligibility for annual bonus, retirement savings, share plan, health benefits, personal wellness, and volunteer opportunities. * Exceptional Career Development opportunities. * Support for your professional development. * Competitive vacation package with the option to purchase 5 extra days off per year. * Corporate wellness programs to support our employees’ physical and mental health. * Hybrid flexible work model Aviva Canada is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities during all phases of the hiring process including the application process.
