WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Implement and manage hotel's daily quality process including goal communication, associate improvement, and compliance with PM Hotel Group standards of product and performance, service recovery and problem resolution.
  • Disseminate feedback from comment cards, guest satisfaction and service failure measurements and coach accordingly.
  • Interview, hire, train, recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide open communication and recommend discipline and/or termination when appropriate. Use the PM Hotel Group efforts for all recruiting and on-boarding activities.
  • Create and implement methods to guarantee that guests have a great experience that exceeds guest satisfaction expectations.
  • Collaborate with front office, food and beverage, and other department heads to ensure that operations are running smoothly.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of the hotel's inner workings, including room rates, rooms operations, hotel policies, availability, and profitability strategies.
  • Conduct revenue management audits for all department budgets, including purchase journals, expenditures, capital requests, labor, and present reports to General Manager.
  • Incorporate guest satisfaction into staff meetings, with a focus on coming up with new methods to enhance performance over time.
  • Coordinate with human resources to interview, hire, and train hotel operations staff to ensure that all departments run well.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an experienced Director of Operations to organize and oversee the daily operations of our hotel. You will be the one to ensure that our business is well-coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and coaching its people.

The area of responsibility for this role is very wide and thus requires thorough knowledge of various hotel processes. The ideal candidate must be competent and able to plan many different kinds of operational activities. He/She must be an excellent leader who can discover the most efficient ways to run the business.

QUALIFICATIONS + SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the hospitality field, preferably in a full-service hotel.
  • Proven track record of managing a team in a hospitality or hotel management role.
  • Excellent leadership skills, analytical skills, and communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Lightspeed experience preferred.
