Job responsibilities The Credit Coordinator is responsible for receiving, reviewing and effectively distributing credit applications to our lender partners in order to obtain credit decisions in a timely manner. * Perform credit review and write-ups for submission to funders in a lease brokerage environment * Review credit submissions and select the most appropriate funding partner for the transactions * Assess all aspects of a situation to gain thorough insight to making decisions and identify key components of a problem to formulate a solution or recommendation * Liaise between account executives and broker partners to communicate decisions and updates * Deal directly with customers and/or their designate (e.g. Accountant) to exchange information * Request rate concessions and appeal declines, if applicable * Work with Documentation/Funding Department to ensure the timely advance of all lease/loan funds, as required * Analyze financial statements and verifying values for used equipment * Manage current relationships with broker partners * Prioritize and complete tasks within allotted time frames Qualifications, knowledge and experience * A strong sense of integrity, professionalism and a results-oriented attitude to continually improve processes and systems, enhance efficiency, and contribute to overall organizational success * Works well under pressure to meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines within short time constraints * You are detail oriented and able to identify errors * Effective communication, organization and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * You thrive in an environment that involves multitasking and changing priorities * Ability to work both in a team and independently with minimal supervision * Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products * 1+ years of relevant experience * Post-secondary diploma or bachelor’s degree is an asset What we offer * Leaders who support your development * Opportunity to take on progressively greater accountabilities * Ability to make a difference and lasting impact * Option to work in office (Vancouver, BC), hybrid, or remote (for most roles) * Comprehensive medical and dental benefits
