Chief Financial Officer

Multi-Company/Division Company seeks a Chief Financial Officer with at least ten years of Construction/Distribution Experience.

Duties and Responsibilities to include:

· Prepare and analyze Monthly Financial Statements, key metric analytics, prepare reports and recommendations to Management and the Board of Directors concerning financial performance.

· Create the annual Budget, rolling forecasts, which align with overall business plans and strategies and review the plan with Management and the Board of Directors.

· Prepare forecasted financial statements and reports and recommendations to Management and the Board of Directors concerning forecasted financial statements.

· Attend financial management meetings and prepare financial reports and presentations for the management team and Private Equity Ownership team.

· Create and review all period-end activities to ensure the period-end financial statements accurately reflect the results of the Company’s activities.

· Investigate reporting errors, prepare, and submit all financial restatements as required by law and by Company policy.

· Manage Accounting and Human Resources staff, and the Company’s PEO relationship.

· Perform the primary review of annual Business Insurance and Health Insurance.

· Assist with project proposal requirements and contract reviews.

· Ensure that processes needed for the financial management system are established, implemented, and maintained, and report to the CEO and Board of Directors on the performance of the financial management system and report any need for its improvement.

· Be the main point of contact between the Company and the External Auditor and coordinate Company audit and tax activities and responses.

· Working knowledge for Tax Code research and coordinate all requests with the Tax consultant.

· Lead due diligence and integration of corporate acquisitions.

· Oversee the asset acquisition process.

· Review lease/buy considerations for capital equipment.

· Review and approve requests for financial statements and any other proprietary, confidential, and/or sensitive financial information, the Risk Management Plan, and all reconciliations.

· Maintain the borrowing and financial plans to meet the needs of the Company’s operations.

· Manage lender/banking relationships and generate and provide all required reporting requirements including monthly financial statement reporting packages, loan covenant compliance certifications, etc.

· Manage daily cash, collections, wire transfers, vendor payments, working capital, and cash flow projections.

· Oversee cash management processes to ensure proper cash availability and best practices in cash management and the check signing authority process.

· Safeguard all Company information and determine the appropriate level of detail for release.

· Continuous improvement for all accounting systems and human resource systems that will result in increased productivity, efficiency, and responsiveness.

· Supervise technology and merge/implement ERP system.

Credentials

· Certified Professional Accountant, preferred.

· Prior Management Experience

· Strong Background in Construction Industry and Project Accounting

· Knowledge of Prevailing Wage Laws

· Strong Communication Skills

· Ability to work collaboratively with Sales and Operations

· Knowledge of Salesforce/CRM Systems

· Knowledge of ERP Systems
