The Role - Senior Commercial Accountant

Pinnacle Group are looking for a Senior Commercial Accountant on a 6-month fixed term contract - with the potential for this to be extended. The role is hybrid, with a minimum of 2 days per week in our London Head Office.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide a detailed financial accounting assessment of the contract base
  • Link key clauses of each contract that have financial implications (e.g. Fee rates, indexation clauses) back to the budget
  • Confirm that that the accounting for those clauses is consistently applied
  • Provide a detailed assessment of material accruals
  • Provide a detailed “look-back” to understand current performance vs budget
  • Devise an accounting check sheet for each contract to ensure consistency
  • Provide a detailed assessment of all material balance sheet items that relate to these contracts
  • Confirm the basis for intercompany recharges and ensure it has been consistently applied
  • Put appropriate processes in place to ensure the financial reporting on these contracts is valid, accurate and complete
