The Senior Manager of Accounts Payable reports to the Treasurer & Chief Accounting Officer, and is located in Lewisville, TX.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Manager of Accounts Payable will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable team, including maintaining and implementing appropriate internal controls to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all accounts payable processes. This person will work collaboratively across functions to improve the overall procure to pay cycle and drive improved working capital through accounts payable management. This individual will play a critical role to establish best-in-class accounts payable management solutions on a national scale to enable capture of cash discounts, rebates and deliver exceptional internal and external customer service. The selected candidate is comfortable leading a team of accounts payable professionals and capable to roll up the sleeves and work in the details to quickly resolve developing issues.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in implementation of InforM3 and be the key subject matter expert and business partner for accounts payable functionality and business processes needed to establish and maintain an efficient accounts payable process
  • Establish and maintain process continuity of the procure-to-pay cycle across functions to support continuous improvement in the functions and business through defining business requirements, participating in process design and implementation of process and organizational changes
  • Develop a plan to select and implement a cloud-based accounts payable solution and lead implementation across the company
  • Ensure compliance with 1099 reporting requirements
  • Provide support to IT and Treasury organizations as needed to establish banking interfaces and direct to vendor data exchange through EDI
  • Create relevant key performance indicators to manage results and drive efficiency
  • Effectively manage days payable outstanding to improve working capital efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field from an accredited university; MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in accounts payable operations with at least 3+ years leading a team
  • Expert knowledge of accounts payable practices, tools and procedures
  • Experience leading business process improvements by identifying, analyzing and implementing solutions to optimize performance and scale for growth
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor teams for success
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with InforM3 is preferred; experience implementing InforM3 a plus
  • Experience implementing a cloud-based accounts payable management solution a plus
  • Working knowledge of the provisions of Sarbanes-Oxley Act and internal control environments a plus
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.
The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate’s unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark’s’ benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
