Job Description

Essential Functions:
Develop new business opportunities to meet established trends

Help develop and implement strategic sales plans

Facilitate client and referral sources requirement meetings

Report weekly sales forecasts

Develop market analysis to identify client needs, price schedules, and overall homecare market sales trends

Stay current with competition

Deliver sales presentations/proposals to prospective clients with a successful closing ratio

Assist in developing and managing client & homecare agency relationships

Evaluate accounts

Manage projects to make sure that they get completed in a timely manner

Responsible for assisting with sales campaigns

Maintain active participation and membership in networking organizations

Works closely with the Director of Home Care Services in the development and execution of the weekly outreach plan and outside community involvement.

Develops relationships with professional referral sources and introduces home care services to the public. (i.e. physicians, hospitals, senior centers, SNF’s, etc.)

Works with Spring Hills Assisted Living Sales teams to assist their prospects with Home Care services

Increases and maintains sales goals

Facilitates agency events to promote home care services and company brand

Maintains current knowledge of key competitor pricing, strengths, and weaknesses

Maintains a detailed, manual tracking system on all prospects and referrals

Monitors sales call activity by daily activity sheets, completes weekly sales reports in a timely manner, and distributes census report to appropriate personnel

Ensures that established marketing plans meet all expectations for budget and sales goals

Attends work as scheduled, including nights and weekends, and follows call-off procedures.

Participates in Manager on Duty Program (see below)

Manager on Duty Program

All management staff will be on call on a rotating basis 1 week at a time. On Call will include after 5pm Monday through Friday, all day weekends and holidays

Answers incoming calls promptly and efficiently. An immediate response is required.

Promptly communicates issues/concerns/actions to Director or RN Supervisor

Completes and maintains on call report on a daily basis

Reviews on call report with appropriate personnel weekly/daily as needed

Non-Essential Functions:
Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.

Maintains confidentiality of business policies & procedures, clients and prospective client’s information.

Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.

Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward clients, visitors, families, and co-workers.

Adheres to all policies and procedures of Spring Hills Home Care Services.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Above average desktop computer skills with experience in Pages, Numbers, Keynote, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
